 If your dentist and physician have made the diagnosis that you have oral cancer, the next step is to determine the right course of action for treatment. In many cases, this will involve oral cancer surgery in order to remove the tumor and affected area, and it is crucial that you take the time to educate yourself about what you will experience. Talk to Your Oral Surgeon about What to ExpectIf you find that you will soon be having oral cancer surgery, it is common to feel nervous about the procedure. For this reason, you should have at least one consultation beforehand with your surgeon in order to learn more about the procedure and recovery.You'll also have the opportunity to have your questions answered, and it is important that before you leave that meeting that you know the answers to some of the most common:
