A root canal takes a little more time to complete than a traditional filling, but the end result is a healthier tooth, that is stronger and more usable than prior to the procedure. Advances in equipment and techniques have made getting a root canal far less painful that it was years ago, and a root canal is far more budget friendly than an extraction and artificial tooth implant or bridge.
