Background information

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery requires up to 5 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training. As Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Drs. MacNicol, Jackson, Gater and Gioulos manage a wide variety of problems relating to the Mouth, Teeth and Facial Regions. The surgeons of the Huronia Oral Surgery Group practice a full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from Dental Implants to Corrective Jaw Surgery and Wisdom Tooth Removal. They can also diagnose and treat Facial Pain, Facial Injuries and TMJ disorders.

Our clinical staff are fully qualified Registered Nurses trained as surgical assistants and to assist with IV Sedation and General Anesthesia within our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during surgery as well as following in our Recovery Room. Our clinical staff are all CPR certified.  All three surgeons are ACLS certified.
