One of the overlooked causes of tooth decay and loss is the overconsumption of sugar. There is more sugar in Americans diet today than there has ever been.
Sugar is the preferred meal of the cavity causing bacteria in your mouth. Cutting down on your sugar intake can have a dramatically positive effect on your oral health and the likelihood that you will keep your teeth for a lifetime.
